Spreads from Journal 09: Superbad. I think I named my Journal that in the spirit of the movie. I guess I wanted that mentality of "I don't know what I'm doing but I'll go for it". I picked up a lot from James Jean and Barron Storey. James just constantly drew and his sketchbooks were simply traces of where his eye had been. Barron on the other hand a reporter or journalist. He made his images subject oriented. I remember asking him about his journals one time and he had the ability to relive the entries that were in them. Awesome work to inspire to, especially in my beginning phases as an artist.
